When Safeway’s roof collapsed during a storm, they called on Craven Construction to complete a full replacement. After careful inspection, we determined a plan to complete the job in the most efficient way to ensure they could reopen the store as quickly as possible.

We determined the best plan of action to complete the job. This included added a silicone coating to help prevent further water penetration.

A flat roof is optimal for a commercial building for several reasons. Flat roofing is the most cost effective material choice for a commercial building because of the sheer size of the building. Additionally, since the roofing material is white, it will help reflect UV rays and keep the utility bills lower.

Safeway was able to re-open once our crew completed installation. With proper maintenance and repair, the flat roof should last for many years to come!
